Mentoring

Public Speaking

It took a while for me to feel comfortable speaking in public but once I did, I realised that I enjoy sharing ideas with audiences. My topics of conversation include creative practice, photography, visual art, neurodivergence, dyslexia and education. I have spoken at Ballarat International Foto Biennale, ACUADS Conference, Art Education Victoria Conference, International Metamodern Conference, and Deans and Directors of Creative Arts Synposium.

Topics of Conversation:

Dyslexia and Neurodivergence

My PhD research into dyslexia and neurodivergence is grounded in personal understanding, allowing me to speak with empathy, authenticity, and expertise. I focus on the strengths and creative potential that come with cognitive difference, while offering insights for navigating challenges in adult life. Through storytelling and evidence-based reflection, I aim to shift perceptions and foster greater awareness, inclusion, and support.

Art, Photography and Creative Practice

As a multidisciplinary artist, I delve into decades of experience in photography, painting, video, installation, and public art to engage audiences in conversations about creative process, exhibition, curation, and research. From my early days in art school to Melbourne’s grassroots gallery scene and onto national and international festivals, I share stories that shine a light on contemporary art practice—offering insight, inspiration, and practical knowledge to artists, educators, and creative thinkers alike.

Business and Education

With a career spanning design, business mentoring, and university teaching, I bring a mashup of creative and commercial insight. As co-director of a design agency and an experienced educator, I understand how to navigate the art world with both creative heart and a business head—bridging the gap between artistic practice and professional understanding.

Fees:
